Dear Emily,
At Allianz, we want to be as flexible and careful as possible within our employees' most important life milestones. Hence, in general, you are entitled to 36 months of parental leave. But you don't need to take those 36 months within the first three years after your baby is born.
You can take up to 24 months from the entire 36 months of parental leave until your child's 8th birthday. Divide the parental leave per parent into 3 periods.
During parental leave, you may work part-time for a maximum of 30 hours per week on average per month (additional conditions must be fulfilled).
But as always: We'll find the best solution together.
Best,
Arina
