Dear Charlie, thanks for your question! Although not every day is the same, of course, I have a routine for how I start and plan my day. First thing in the morning, I check my calendar to get an overview of my appointments. Right after that, I check my mails and the group mailbox. Then I set my priorities for the day and possibly adjust my to-dos for the week. In the morning I try to do all urgent to-dos first, then everything that can be done quickly. These are currently, for example, the creation of the dashboard for the emergency meeting or the processing of various requests. After my lunch break, I devote myself to topics that are more time-consuming, such as the creation of emergency response plans or presentations. It always depends on which topics I am working on at the moment. It is also possible that sudden tasks turn my planning upside down and my day ends up looking completely different! Especially in times of working from home, it’s important to staying connected with your colleagues. So I always like to take the time to have a chat with my colleagues – and it doesn’t always have to be about work :).
