Dear Alan,
Excellent question!
Allianz has recently launched its response to the challenge of people typically living longer and healthier lives and therefore choosing to work for longer by developing a holistic lifecycle management model to meet changing workforce needs.
It begins with a focus on career and acknowledging that this may involve many different stages, shifts, and moves along a multi-staged life allowing for re-orientation and life-long learning. Next, there is a focus on balance, understanding that work-life balance may shift priorities requiring flexibility for family, a career focus, or even time away. Finally, a focus on the transition into retirement as a dignified and gradual step-down, where this is the best option for the individual and the company together.
Job sharing and reverse mentoring opportunities are being implemented to share knowledge and experience between people of different ages. We believe these interactions should encourage greater collaboration and understanding between different age groups too.
So long story short: No. No age limit. You should apply!
Best,
Arina
