I have heard of Allianz' new ways of working or the new WOW. Could you please elaborate on this and what it encompass?

    Thank you for your patience with me. Here's more information about our new Ways of Working at Allianz.


    We’ve continuously applied what we’ve learned in seasons of growth from COVID 19 and beyond to accelerate our strategic transformation already in progress. And now, as a result of listening to our people and co-creating competitive best practices, we are not going back to where we were, nor staying where we are–we are moving towards something better.
    We care for tomorrow by introducing flexible, collaborative and agile Ways of Working that empower our employees, customers, and organization.
    As we look more specifically at what this means for our people, our Ways of Working are centered in the following 5 areas:

    1. Flexible work & reduced travel
    With hybrid working as our new normal we are increasing flexibility while fostering collaboration.

    We offer our employees the option to work remotely 40% of the time (and in some cases more) depending on job/business requirements– including eligibility to work up to 25 days per year abroad (should requirements be met in the assessment). We want our employees to spend more time where it matters most and maximize productivity–all while protecting our environment. For that reason, we’ve also significantly reduced our business travel and are committed to this approach.

    2. Digital tools
    Enabling our teams to collaborate & innovate through standard digital collaboration tools and in-office meeting spaces equipped with technology to support hybrid meetings.

    3. Health & Well-being
    Caring for the right balance between life and work through employee assistance programs and other support for physical and mental health.

    4. Learning
    Prioritizing growth and development of our employees through our broad and high quality learning offers including our Allianz U platform .

    5. Organization and culture
    Enhancing a culture of collaboration, trust, and empowerment and outcome-focus. Programs and pledges are in place to make sure this element of WOW is met. Furthermore, cultural change programs and social engagement offerings are some main components to enhance our culture.
